UNKNOWN NATIONS TREASURE ELECTRONIC SOLAR POWERED BIBLES UPDATE
October 2025 | Chad
Reaching Frontier People Groups
Our Indigenous Leader in Chad serves among frontier people groups. These are nations with virtually no followers of Jesus and no known gospel movements. In two of these groups, we have received stories of transformation. To protect ministry leaders on the ground, names have been changed for their protection.
Abakar’s Story
There was just one known believer in this frontier people group. His name is Abakar. Despite risk, he boldly shares his faith. Recently, his witness touched his own family. Hoping to stir curiosity, Abakar gave his mother a Treasure audio Bible, presenting it as a message about “Allah and the Prophets.” She listened, and kept listening. The gospel began to take root. Questions about Jesus grew deeper. Abakar answered with his testimony, and her heart opened. Earlier this year, he invited a missionary to visit their home. That day, his mother chose to follow Christ. Through her son’s courage, she stepped into new life, becoming the second believer in this nation. Pray she grows strong, rooted in Christ, and becomes a light in her community.
Adoum’s Story
Six audio Bibles were distributed among another frontier group, planted like seeds. For Adoum, a water seller, one seed took hold. At first, the recordings were a novelty. Yet as he listened daily, curiosity deepened. He returned again and again to the missionary with questions. Over time, curiosity turned to conviction. Finally, Adoum asked, “What must I do to become a follower of Jesus?” That day, he surrendered his life to Christ and faith blossomed.
Adoum’s story shows how God uses patient witness and His Word to transform lives. Pray Adoum grows strong in his faith and becomes a bold witness among his people, where Christ’s name is still unknown.
